Multiscale traffic simulation: a new paradigm

The upcoming release of Dynameq 4 was profiled in the February/March 2016 issue of Traffic Technology International.

“The innovation here is to modulate the rapid spread of congestion when demand greatly exceeds capacity. This enables us to address scalability within a single unified traffic model and at a consistent level of detail over the entire network,” says Michael Mahut, vice president of traffic simulation at INRO.

Learn more about how Dynameq 4 provides a single adaptive traffic simulation that helps planners and engineers model traffic at a consistent level of detail across an entire metropolitan region, under higher demand and in more congested conditions.
