What's New in Emme 4.4

Emme 4.4 introduces new modelling, productivity and visualization features including a new 3D, interactive and animated mapping framework, new transit assignment methods and features, upgraded demand adjustment procedures, accelerated shortest path and accessibility queries, mapmatching improvements, network editor improvements, a new expression builder, and many other enhancements. Introducing Emme Scenes

Emme users upgrading to Emme 4.4 will notice among other improvements a new interactive and animated 3D mapping environment called Emme Scenes. While not a modelling feature per se, Emme Scenes is designed to help you better understand your travel models. This post explains some of the ways that you can use Emme Scenes to animate time-of-day results, traffic flows, regional travel patterns and accessibility, and simulation playback to explore your travel model in new ways.

Welcome Dr. Peter Vovsha as VP Travel Modeling

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Peter Vovsha as VP Travel Modeling!

Peter Vovsha will be joining our R&D team to help establish and develop travel modeling methodologies for inclusion in INRO software. Peter has spent the majority of his career advancing travel modeling theory and practices and has numerous publications in such fields as discrete choice models, regional model system design, and behavioural research.

CityPhi 1.6 is now available

CityPhi 1.6 (released November 27, 2018) introduces built-in production quality video recording and keyframe animation, new visual treatments and layers, a new thematic coloring system, GTFS import capability, support for custom web basemaps, performance improvements and other CityPhi Studio UI improvements.
